Carmel School firmly believes in the multi- dimensional development of a child’s personality. We strive for excellence in academics, sports as well as in co-curricular activities. Professional competence as well as dedication to the cause of education has helped us achieve all these and much more.
Technology has become an integral part of education and is developing each day. These changes have also made us realize that transaction of the curriculum and educational technology also needs to be updated with the changing times. We need to re-invent ourselves in creating a learning atmosphere in schools. We strive to provide knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes and beliefs that are essential for a productive, successful and happy life.
To be free, strong and secure in our own person, one has to learn how to accept responsibility. A student has to be responsible and enlighten himself\herself with the lamp of knowledge, develop the passion to learn, to achieve and succeed in life. If one takes responsibility, one will develop a hunger to accomplish his dreams.

Academic Process
Passion for teaching with the purpose of inculcating excellence ensures performance which escalates at every threshold. Thus, the objective of the academic process is to impart education and facilitate comprehension to such depth that the student becomes proficient enough to learn independently.
Life being a continuous learning process throws challenges that can be easily conquered by students, whose learning and training is so profound in its foundation itself. Thus, the principle that “Std.VIII is a period of adjustment, Std.IX is a period of improvement and ultimately Std.X, a period of achievement” aptly summarizes academic importance.

Morning-Assembly
A typical Carmel morning commences with the assembly, inculcating the value of discipline and decorum in the students. School Prayer, National Pledge, Physical exercise and daily News form a part of everyday Assembly. Student turnout is checked and corrected for their overall grooming.
A creative touch to this age-old practice is the conception of the special assembly which encourages students to work as a team with the topic of their choice. They present their exposition by pooling in ideas using speeches, skits, opinion polls, songs, limericks and poetry to convey their understanding of the topic and to create awareness.
