Remedial Classes Description
As all fingers of a hand are not equal in size, individuality in intellect capability, learning ability and application can be observed in students. It all depends on personality factor, home atmosphere and the students interest in the particular subject. In such cases, the students may lag behind or may not live up to the general performance of the class.
Students who are a little slower in learning,any particular subject, are given special attention through remedial classes after school hours by the teachers, who handle those subjects. This is arranged from mid -June between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm, throughout the year. A special time- table is formed covering all subjects and students are instructed to attend according to the subject, they find challenging. Special tutoring with special emphasis on the units or chapters found difficult is attempted at. The purpose of this exercise is to ensure that all the students are ‘on par’ with each other.
