Admission Procedure
- Admissions are done only at Kindergarten and at Primary Level depending on the availability of seats.
- Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form duly attached by a Transfer Certificate issued by the last school attended or Original Birth Certificate in case of those seeking fresh admissions.
- Candidates seeking admissions from other institutions should pass a written test conducted by the school. But the rights of admission is reserved by the Management.
- The prescribed admission fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- On all matters to admission, the decision of the Management is final.
Withdrawal
- In case of withdrawals, application for issue of Transfer and Conduct Certificate should be submitted to the office at least 3 days in advance.
- Transfer Certificate will not be issued unless all dues are paid.
- If the head of the institution finds the performance of any Pupil unsatisfactory and orders withdrawal of such Pupil, it is obligatory on the part of the Parent/Guardian to withdraw the Pupil.

Mentoring
The unique quality of every teacher in Carmel School is that of a “counsellor not by formal training, but by experience.”
Every school has its fair share of students who are academically below average or with social and behavioural problems. Hence Mentoring is used as a tool to improve the learning environment. The teachers are “guides and mentors”, who are trustworthy, friendly and approachable.
They have good listening skills and lend a patient ear to all problems with a good understanding of health and social issues in an impartial and non-judgemental way.

Student Association for Road Safety
Motto: ‘Speed thrills but kills’Main objective is to render professional traffic training to the students and bring awareness in young minds on traffic and related rules and regulations as per the ‘Bangalore City Police Traffic Warden Organization’.

Field Trip
Field trips are one of the highlights of the school year for Carmel children. Teachers and students get to interact in a fun way.
The major aim of the outing is interactive learning, an experience that goes beyond reading about a concept. Students are able to see elements with their eyes or participate in it physically. It also gives them a chance to be in contact with nature and explore the outdoors.

Children with high academic ability, skill in sports art or excellence in any field deserve to be motivated, encouraged and challenged by their educational system or school.

Remedial Classes
As all fingers of a hand are not equal in size, individuality in intellect capability, learning ability and application can be observed in students. It all depends on personality factor, home atmosphere and the students interest in the particular subject. In such cases, the students may lag behind or may not live up to the general performance of the class.
